Do the kids choose to break out to a slogan of their own choice? Here at Denison Coach Cody White and our whole staff prefer that this be consisitent. Which is why we break out to
"WORK HARD, IMPROVE EVERYDAY,BE UNSELFISH, BE THE BEST!".
Just fininshing our third Fall with these kids I must say that the consistent approach has served us well.

its all about the buy-in factor. I had a great talk with former jacket great Brian Lilly (just finished his redshirt freshman year at Texas State) and we talked about seeing things thru "older" eyes. I do not know if that slogan we break out to means much to those kids today, but when they are fathers, husbands, breadwinners, they will understand much more what Coach White brought to their table.
